    Archaeology

For over a century Amgueddfa Cymru has collected evidence of life and death in Wales, from the first use of caves 250,000 years ago to the start of the Industrial Revolution. Items in the collection range from mammoths’ teeth and shipwrecks to Celtic coins and cannon balls. Together they tell us about the archaeology and history of Wales. If you can’t find what you are looking for try searching with different keywords or contact us and we will help you.
