    Early Photography

The photography collection at Amgueddfa Cymru contains some of the earliest images ever taken in Wales. Many of these form part of the John Dillwyn Llewelyn collection with photographs dating from the late 1840s taken by the Dillwyn Llewelyn families and their contemporaries such as Calvert Richard Jones and Roger Fenton.
